Centre Var Tourist Train - Timetable 2014

The tourist train in the French department Var (Train Touristique du Centre Var) will operate its regular railcar service between Carnoules-les-Platanes and Brignoles from April through October.
 
All trains have a 10 minutes stop in Sainte Anastasie, including a visit to the ATTCV shop with railway souvenirs and local products.

Ticket price: EUR 10 (children 4 - 11 yrs: EUR 5 - children under 4 yrs: No charge). Cash only.

There is free parking at all stations.

The 2014 Ttrain des Pignes steam train service from Puget-Théniers is scheduled from 11 May to 1 November.

- Sundays from 11 May to 1 November
- Fridays from 18 July to 15 August

Trains leave Puget-Théniers at 10.55 and arrive in Annot at 12.05, with a stop in Entrevaux 11.15 - 11.25

Return from Annot at 15.00, arrival in Puget-Théniers at 15.40 (with a one-minute stop in Entrevaux at 15.24).

NOTE - It is likely that the trains in May will be between Puget-Théniers and Entrevaux only (at a lower ticket price), see last minute information on the GECP web site.

Ticket price: EUR 20 (children EUR 16)

2013 traffic season for Train Touristique du Centre Var

The timetable for Train Touristique du Centre Var, the tourist train between Carnoules and Brignoles has now been published. There will be trains in operation from April to October, on Sundays and Wednesdays, with either one or three trains.

Interesting program for 2013

The timetable for the Train des Pignes steam train for season 2013 is now available. There will be trains every Sunday from May to October. Thematic trains will be run at five occasions.

The season will start on Sunday 5 May, with a thematic steam train from Puget-Théniers at 10.55 to Le Fugeret (the first station uphill from Annot). The passengers can during the 1.5 h train stop visit the special market, where this day the village of  Le Fugeret celebrates the "5éme Journées de la nature des traditions". Return to Puget-Théniers at 17.15.

 All following Sundays, except 7 July (see below), will have the same timetable, i.e

• departure from Puget-Théniers at 10.55, arrival in Annot at 12.05 (with a stop in Entrevaux)
• return from Annot at 15.10, arrival in Puget-Théniers at 15.50 (with stop in Entrevaux)

Train des Pignes à Vapeur - Folder 2012

The folder for the GECP operated steam train Train des Pignes can be downloaded from the GECP site.

The train runs on Sundays from 13 May to 28 October. In May, June, September and October there will be one train Puget-Théniers - Annot at 10.45 - 15.55. In July and August there will be two trains Puget-Théniers - Villars-sur-Var, one 10.45 - 11.45 and one 15.30 - 17.00. All details are in the folder.  Download the folder

ATTCV folder for 2012

The four colour folder for the Tourist Train in the Green Provence is now ready, available both in print and in .pdf format. As before, it is only in French, but it is easily used without interpretation. A large illustrated map shows the tourist railway line from Carnoules-les-Platanes to Saint Maximin.

The time schedule is essentially the same as last year, with one or three trains on Sundays from April to October and additionally on Wednesdays from June to September.

The timetable is now available on the GECP web site.

There will be steam trains each Sunday from 13th May until 28th October.

In May, June, September and October there will be one train, leaving Puget-Théniers at 10.45, arriving 12.00 in Annot, with intermediate stop in Entrevaux. Returning train leaves Annot 15.10 and arrives in Puget-Théniers 15.55.

In July and August there will be two trains. One train that leaves Puget-Théniers at 10.30 to arrive in Villars-sur-Var at 11.10, with intermediate stop in Touët-sur-Var, and which returns at 11.45 from Villars-sur-Var to arrive in Puget-Théniers 12.25. The second leaves Puget-Théniers at 15.30 and arrives in Villars-sur-Var 16.20 and returns from Villars-sur-Var at 17.00 to be Puget-Théniers at 17.45.
