Train of Marvels - Retro - Additional train

In an earlier post was informed about the ATTCV special train Toulon - Tende in the third week of September. The interest for this journey turned out be very high. ATTCV has just announced that the train is already now fully booked, i.e almost four months before the event.

ATTCV has therefore decided to arrange a second journey two weeks after the first, on Saturday October 12, 2013.

The timetable will likely be the same:

  • 07.15 departure from Toulon
  •  ----- stops in Solliés-Pont, Carnoules, Les Arcs, St Raphaël and Cannes
  • 09.30 arrival in Nice
  • 09.45 departure from Nice
  • 12.00 arrival in Tende
  • 16.15 departure from Tende
  • 18.30 arrival in Nice
  • 18.45 departure from Nice
  • ----- stops in Cannes, St Raphaël, Les Arcs, Carnoules and Solliés-Pont
  • 21.00 arrival in Toulon

You can start and end your journey at any of these stations. 

There will be a guide on board between Nice and Toulon to present the history of the railway, as well as a possibility for guided tours in Tende.

Ticket price as for the first journey, i.e EUR 50.

Considering how fast the first train got fully booked, it is clear that for this journey early reservation is highly recommended.

The railway line is said to be under threat of closure, so this could be your last chance for a journey on this line.
